Police in Hamburg shot a guy who was carrying an incendiary device and brandishing a pickaxe close to a Euro 2024 fan park. After coming out of a kebab shop brandishing a pickaxe with a gold tinge and threatening others around, the unidentified suspect is reported to have been shot in the leg.

Officers pepper-sprayed him and fired a warning shot as they approached him, but witnesses claimed the man was taken out after trying to flee through the crowds. Additionally, he seemed to be carrying a molotov cocktail, according to witnesses.
