For the majority of its existence, the Hyundai Creta has been the segment’s best-selling vehicle. Although the product is excellent, the company deserves praise for continuously updating the Creta to keep it current with market trends. Following the same concept, Hyundai has chosen to sell the Creta in N-Line specification a few months after the updated model was introduced. The Hyundai i20 and Hyundai Venue, which were introduced in N-Line form some time ago, now have the Creta N-Line joining them. What, therefore, distinguishes the Creta N-Line? Let’s find out. The Hyundai Creta N-Line comes with a revised front bumper and grille.
Exterior Design of the Hyundai Creta N-Line
To start, the Creta N-Line is available in two new colors: blue and matte grey, both of which are quite beautiful. The blue one provides the Creta N-Line a sporty undertone, while the matte gray gives it an extremely stealthy appearance. Though the overall appearance is unchanged, careful inspection reveals a redesigned bumper, skid plate, and black grille. The crimson stripe, which encircles the outside of the body, looks amazing. Matching red brake calipers and 18in alloys have been added too. At the back, the spoiler looks cool and so does the twin-tip muffler. While the lights remain unchanged, the indicators follow a sequential pattern. The interiors are all-black and also have a red trim
Hyundai Creta N-Line: Features and interior design
The Creta N-Line has an all-black cabin inside. To make the inside sportier, a red insert has also been incorporated. The red ambient lighting enhances it. The N emblem is clearly displayed on the redesigned steering wheel. On automatic variants, one also gets large paddle-shifters which are easy to use. There are now metal covers on the pedals as well. Other than that the N-Line continues to feature everything else offered by the standard Creta. This includes the twin 10.25in displays which constitute the curvilinear infotainment system and instrument panel. The Creta also remains to be as spacious as ever and overall the strong points of the package have been retained. The steering wheel is new and also comes with the N logo.
Hyundai Creta N-Line: Fuel efficiency, engine, and gearbox
The 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine produces 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque, powering the Creta N-Line. With the N-Line, Hyundai will provide a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT. The Creta N-Line then has the power to reach a claimed 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds. According to ARAI claims, the DCT offers 18.2 kmpl and the MT scores 18 kmpl, indicating that fuel economy claims are also healthy. 18in alloy wheels are new. Note the brake callipers which are now red in colour.
How is driving the Hyundai Creta N-Line?
The Creta N-Line feels comfortable while traveling. The SUV has a strong acceleration and exudes confidence while driving. The Creta feels firmly planted on the road even at 120 mph, so drivers can unwind while the SUV clocks up the miles. The pace of acceleration is rapid, but not breakneck. This SUV exudes tranquility in all it accomplishes, which may be attributed to the Creta’s innate quality. The SUV maintains its stability well in turns as well, and drivers who are passionate about driving will appreciate the responsive and well-balanced steering. But it is the ride quality that impresses the most. The suspension absorbs nearly everything that comes its way which in turn keeps occupants comfortable. In all the Creta N-Line adds
