On St. Patrick’s Day, an active shooter event in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, left one person dead and two injured, according to authorities. Residents were advised to stay indoors.

The event occurred “out in the open,” according to Sgt. Tonya Tator of the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, and authorities believe there were numerous shooters involved. She made this statement on Sunday night. The accused are still being sought after by the authorities.
