TFD – A disturbing video has surfaced showing Hamas abductors taunting their Israeli hostages. The footage reveals the brutal treatment of five female soldiers captured during an attack on the Nahal Oz base. This incident underscores the ongoing tension and brutality in the region.

Disturbing footage of five female soldiers being kidnapped by Hamas terrorists who call them “dogs” and threaten to shoot them was published on Wednesday by the relatives of the Israeli ladies who were taken hostage on October 7.

The gunmen who have taken over a shelter on the Nahal Oz base are pushing the young women against a wall in the opening frames, some of their faces bloodied and their hands chained behind them.

One of the gunman screamed at the detainees, “You dogs, we will step on you, you dogs,” according to an NBC News translation.

Another gunman cries, “Take, take pictures of them,” again in Arabic.

The 3-minute, 10-second video was deemed a “damning testament to the nation’s failure to bring home the hostages, who have been forsaken for 229 days” by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, which was founded by the families of those abducted as part of the Hamas operation last year.

The ladies in the film were identified by the group as Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Daniela Gilboa, and Naama Levy. The group has been exerting pressure on the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to declare a truce with Hamas.

They are all still thought to be in Hamas’s control.

Two more people were kidnapped from Nahal Oz: Ori Megidish, who was freed after being held captive for 23 days, and Noa Marciano, who perished while being held captive.

Following the publication of the film, Israeli President Isaac Herzog issued a statement pledging to extend his “strength and love” to the families of the hostages.

“This brutal atrocity needs to be seen by the world,” he declared. “People who are concerned about women’s rights need to speak up. It is imperative that everyone who values freedom speak up and take all necessary steps to rescue all hostages immediately.

Netanyahu claimed that the footage had “horrified” him as well.

The film was seized by the Israeli army with consent from the relatives of the five missing women, and it was made public by the Hostages and Missing relatives Forum. The perpetrators’ bodycams recorded their kidnappings.

“The girls’ eyes were filled with raw terror as the footage revealed the violent, humiliating, and traumatizing treatment they endured on the day of their abduction,” the group stated.

But the video, the group said, was also “edited and censored to exclude the most disturbing scenes.” Who edited it was not immediately apparent.

Hamas said in a statement the video that is circulating is “a fragmented clip that has been manipulated, and the authenticity of what is contained in it cannot be confirmed.”

The women are then confronted by an enraged gunman who cries back, “I want you silent! Calm down! You foolish bastard!

“You are the reason our brothers died,” he screams. “We’ll shoot everyone,”

The gunman appears to want to use what appears to be one of the prisoners’ phones to call his friend in Gaza, but it’s unclear why. Albag tries to find out what their kidnappers want in the next frames.

The camera then cuts to Berger, whose mouth is bloody and whose green T-shirt is spattered with more blood.

An English-speaking gunman asks her, “Where are you from?”

“In Israel, what?” In response, Berger says. “Tel Aviv.”

The captured women sit with their backs to a wall, watching the gunmen as they pray in the next frames.

Then, while a gunman adjusts one of the captives’ bonds, another gunman eyeing the women says in Arabic: “Here are the scumbags. Here are the worthless.”

The gunman repeats, “These are Zionists,” in Arabic.

The voice of a gunman then appears, saying in English, “You are so beautiful.”

Gunshots can be heard in the background as the prisoners are hustled to a waiting Jeep in the following frames. As one is being lifted by her hands and knees, a gunman cries, “Come on, load them up!” in Arabic.

While being led to the waiting Jeep, Gilboa, another captive, looks to be hurt and jumps on one foot.

The woman in the rear of the car is seen in the closing moments, looking shocked as they are taken away.

Conclusion

The release of this harrowing footage serves as a stark reminder of the brutal realities faced by hostages in conflict zones. It underscores the urgent need for international intervention and support to secure their release. As the world watches, the resilience of the hostages and the determination of their families highlight the human cost of these conflicts. This incident not only calls for immediate action but also serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing struggle for peace and justice in the region.
