Paul Rudd has described himself in a new interview as somebody who lives his life “like someone’s grandfather,” but he does find ways to keep things young and fresh, including listening to the music of pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Rudd stated that his daughter, 14, adores Swift in an MTV interview that was uploaded on YouTube on Thursday. However, he clarified that he is also a fan and that his own Swiftie status is not a proxy.

“I believe she’s excellent, I think she’s fantastic,” the “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” actor remarked.

He even sang along to some of her songs, such as “Mastermind,” “Cruel Summer,” and “August,” at the “Eras Tour” performance he went to in May with his daughter.

While appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” earlier this month, Rudd talked about attending the “Eras Tour” event and expressed how “knocked out” he was by the experience.

He remarked, “I just felt like there was so much love, support, and positivity.” And to experience that level of emotion with so many others… She did everything, and it was amazing.

Rudd even exchanged friendship bracelets with patrons at the May performance, as seen in pictures that concertgoers shared on social media. This has been a tradition at “Eras Tour” events.

Being a native of the Missouri town, the “Clueless” actor is also a well-known fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and is particularly fond of the team’s all-star tight end, Travis Kelce, who also happens to be Swift’s boyfriend.
