The Korean automaker has introduced two new trims, the Creta King and Creta King Limited Edition, with additional features in honor of the Hyundai Creta‘s tenth anniversary on the Indian market. These new top-tier trims have ex-showroom costs starting at Rs 17.89 lakh. Additionally, Hyundai has added amenities to the Creta and Creta N Line’s standard trims.

What’s new with the Hyundai Creta King?

With the Creta King, Hyundai has included a number of additional amenities. These consist of larger 18-inch alloy wheels, a dashcam, a sliding front armrest with storage, dual-zone air conditioning, an 8-way motorized adjustment for the front passenger seat, a Memory feature for the driver’s seat, and a “King” logo.

On the Creta King models, Hyundai has also included the touch-based HVAC panel from the Alcazar, the retractable seatback table, and boss mode capability for the front passenger seat. Additionally, these models provide wireless Android Auto and apple CarPlay, albeit through a wired-to-wireless converter.

The new King trim comes with all five of the Creta’s powerplant options. These include the 115hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed MT or a CVT gearbox, the 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT gearbox and the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT.

Additionally, the Creta King receives the Knight Edition treatment, which includes a blacked-out exterior and interior. However, the only powertrain options available are the diesel-AT and gasoline-CVT.

What’s new with the Hyundai Creta King Limited Edition?

Hyundai has also unveiled the King Limited Edition, a limited edition trim. A seatbelt cover, headrest cushions, fresh carpet mats, a key cover, and extra door cladding are added to this standard King model.

However, the King Limited Edition will only come in three color options (Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Black Matte) and two engine options (115 horsepower, 1.5-liter gasoline-CVT and 116 horsepower, 1.5-liter diesel-AT).

New updates for regular Creta, Creta N Line

A few of the Creta King’s new features will also be offered on the Creta N Line and other SUV trim levels. These consist of the 18-inch alloys, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the dashcam, and the dual-zone air conditioner with the new touch-based HVAC interface. However, Hyundai has not specified which specific trim levels would include these additional amenities. Additionally, a new matte black color option has been added to the Creta.
