Are you a female student who is working toward a technical degree? Verify your AICTE Pragati Scholarship eligibility

Through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is taking online applications for its Pragati Scholarship Scheme For Girl Students (Technical Degree). The grant is available to qualified female students via scholarships.gov.in.

The deadline for applications is October 31.

According to AICTE, the goal of this fellowship is to support ladies who are pursuing technical education in their endeavors. One of the most crucial ways to provide women the information, abilities, and self-assurance they need to fully engage in the process of growth is through education. This is an effort to provide young women with the chance to continue their education and get ready for a prosperous future.

Criteria for eligibility for the AICTE Pragati Scholarship

The quantity of scholarships

Under this program, 5,000 scholarships are given out annually. Furthermore, the scholarship will be given to all eligible girls from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (UT), Jammu and Kashmir (UT), Ladakh (UT), Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu (UT), Lakshadweep (UT), Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura who fill out online scholarship forms.

For each year of study (a maximum of four years for first-year admitted students and three years for second-year admitted students through lateral entrance), the scholarship is worth ₹50,000 annually.

The scholarship can be used to buy computers, stationery, books, software, equipment, and other necessities, as well as to pay for educational expenses.

Candidates will be chosen based on their performance on the qualifying exam for the technical degree program.
