With an emphasis on academic and counseling-related topics, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started producing instructional podcasts and digital content internally. The content is being produced to give children, parents, and schools real counsel, awareness, and assistance, according to an official release. To reach a larger audience, the board has also made these podcasts accessible on open sites like YouTube.

According to CBSE, the launch of digital resources and podcasts is meant to enhance its current academic and counseling support services. The board hopes to provide a flexible and easily accessible platform for sharing information and guidance about academics, exams, Mental health, and student well-being by making such materials available digitally.

Participation of students in the production of material

CBSE has suggested including student voices into the project through brief audio or video encounters, testimonies, and dialogues in order to make it more student-centric. All official podcasts, social media posts, and other online communication platforms will make use of their contributions. The board has emphasized that including student viewpoints will make the information more approachable and enable students to participate directly in broader educational conversations.

School nomination procedure

In this context, CBSE has requested that affiliated schools suggest individuals from Classes IX through XII who are confident, articulate, and eager to engage with the material. The board has made it clear that involvement is completely voluntary and will only be allowed with the children’ and their parents’ or guardians’ written approval, which must be obtained through the relevant school.

To encourage the wellbeing of students, CBSE will host offline parenting courses in five cities.

Through the google form link included in the circular, interested schools are to send the names and brief biographies of the nominated children to CBSE. Within ten days of the notice’s date of issue, the submissions must be made. The board reaffirmed that this is a voluntary opportunity meant to support CBSE’s outreach and communication initiatives while also providing students with a forum for self-expression.
