BigHit confirms that Jimin of BTS and Song Da-eun, an actress, were once romantically involved

The romance rumors involving actor Song Da-eun and BTS member Jimin have been addressed by BigHit Music. Fans were advised to refrain from "harmful speculation" by the agency, which stressed that although they were once in love, they are not currently dating.

BigHit Music has formally addressed the persistent rumors about actor Song Da-eun and BTS member Jimin.

After Song Da-eun shared a TikTok video on August 27 that generated new dating rumors, the agency released a response on August 31. The video, which stoked rumors about their romance, shows Song Da-eun waiting outside an elevator in an apartment complex before Jimin shows up.

BIGHIT MUSIC clarified in its statement that although it had originally decided to remain silent in respect for the artist’s personal life, it felt compelled to do so because of lingering rumors.

According to the company, “the artist and the person in question were once acquainted with mutual affection in the past, but that was several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present.”

The organization stressed that false information could be harmful and advised fans and the media to refrain from careless conjecture. “We respectfully ask that you not do anything that would cause harm to the person being mentioned with the artist,” the message said.

Song Da-eun and Jimin have not made any direct remarks regarding the issue.
