In what appears to be the first documented gang confrontation between Indian criminal networks in Dubai, gangster Rohit Godara has claimed responsibility for the killing of rival gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s close aide, Jora Sidhu, also known as Sippa. The allegation surfaced through a social media post shared from an account linked to Godara’s syndicate.
The post asserts that Sidhu was killed by having his throat slit, marking a significant escalation in the long-running turf war between the Bishnoi and Godara factions. The message alleges that Sidhu had dispatched individuals to Germany to assassinate one of Godara’s key associates and had been issuing threats to people in the United States and Canada while residing in Dubai under the influence and identity of Lawrence Bishnoi.
“Lawrence’s Jora Sidhu (Sippa) was killed today in Dubai by slitting his throat. We carried this out. He had sent his men to Germany to kill our brother while acting as Lawrence’s handler. Sitting in Dubai, he was threatening people in America and Canada. Anyone who thinks Dubai is safe should know that enemies are not safe anywhere,” the post claimed.
The message further names several alleged members of the faction taking responsibility for the attack, including Goldy Brar, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran Delana, and Vicky Pehlwan Kotkapura. The post, purportedly authored under Godara’s name, warns that while authorities may not be able to track down everyone involved in the conflict, the syndicate will continue targeting individuals who oppose them.
Despite the viral nature of the claims, Dubai Police has yet to issue an official statement confirming or commenting on the reported killing. As of now, the alleged murder remains unverified by law enforcement, leaving several unanswered questions about what may be a major international escalation in gang rivalry.
The situation continues to evolve as agencies monitor the claims and await official confirmation from authorities in the UAE.
