Asserting that this is not just a fight for jobs for the youth, Gandhi said it is a fight for justice and democracy

Rahul Gandhi, a congress politician, said Friday that unemployment is directly related to “vote chori” and that the BJP is also known as “paper chor.” Gandhi also expressed his full support for students who are protesting against a recent paper leak in Uttarakhand.

The Leader of the Opposition in the lok Sabha further said in a post on X that the BJP is more concerned with retaining power through “vote chori” (vote stealing) during elections than it is with providing jobs for young people.

“Paper Chor is the alternative name for the BJP nowadays! Millions of industrious young people’s lives and hopes have been destroyed by the frequent document leaks throughout the nation,” he wrote in his Hindi post.

Gandhi claimed that the most recent instance, in which lakhs of young people worked day and night but the BJP destroyed all of their hard work by thievery, was the recent paper leak in the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission exam.

“We have always called for the development of a robust and open framework to prevent paper leaks. Gandhi said, “But the Modi government is ignoring this because they are more worried about their own power than youth unemployment.”

The Congress leader claimed that “the ‘paper chors’ know that even if the youth don’t get jobs, they will remain in power by stealing votes during elections,” pointing out that unemployment is the largest issue confronting the nation today and that it is directly related to “vote chori.” He asserted that the young people were chanting “Paper Chor, Gaddi Chhod” (paper thieves, leave the throne) in the streets.

Gandhi said that this is a fight for justice and democracy, not only for young employment. “I firmly support all students and young people in this fight for justice,” he stated, utilizing the hashtag #PaperChorGaddiChod.
