Regarding the Special Intensive Revision of the Bihar voter list, the Election Commission submitted a progress report with the Supreme Court. In it, it stated that the website now contains a booth-by-booth list of around 65 lakh individuals whose names were left off of the draft voter list.

Additionally, all 38 District Election Officers’ websites and offices have made the draft voter list online, according to the article.

The Supreme Court has been informed by the commission that the public notice also states that those whose names have been omitted may file a claim using their Aadhaar card. The list and the justifications for exclusion from the draft voter list have been made public. It has listed other reasons, including the voter’s death, a permanent move, or duplicate entries.

In its response, the commission added that all 38 District Election Officers had submitted reports on the matter.

The draft voter list has also been posted in the offices of Panchayat Bhawan, Block Development Officers, and Panchayat Officers, according to the Election Commission’s progress report.

Additionally, BLO and BLA have made the list available so that individuals can learn the reasons why their names were left off and submit objections for revision in accordance with the established process.

Publicity regarding the draft voter list in Panchayat Bhawans, Block Development offices, and Panchayat offices, as well as the online availability of the list on the CEO and DEO’s websites, has also been done in Bihar through the major newspapers, radio, electronic, and social media platforms, including the DEO’s social media account.
