Ten coworkers receive $1 million.
With ticket number 3068, Ettiyanikkal Pailybabu, 56, of Kerala, won $1 million in the Millennium Millionaire Series 513 draw on Wednesday at Dubai International Airport’s Concourse A. Pailybabu, a site supervisor who has lived in Dubai for 16 years, bought the ticket online on August 18.
Nine of his coworkers, who also helped to cover the AED 1000 (Rs 24,000) cost of the ticket, will now split the $1 million with him. According to Pailybabu, he and his colleagues have been regularly participating in Dubai Duty Free promotions, taking turns to put their names on the tickets.
