Mercedes Mone has taken another shot at Willow Nightingale ahead of their AEW Women’s World Championship match at All In: London. The former TBS Champion used social media to warn her upcoming opponent and accused the fan-favorite champion of being a bully.

The rivalry between Mone and Nightingale has grown increasingly personal in the weeks leading up to the major AEW event at Wembley Stadium. Mone has made it clear that she intends to take the Women’s World Championship and end Willow’s reign.

Mercedes Mone Calls Willow Nightingale a Bully

Willow Nightingale recently addressed Mercedes Mone after successfully defending her AEW Women’s World Championship against Maya World on Collision.

Mone responded to the champion’s comments on social media, calling Nightingale a bully while counting down to their title clash at All In: London.

The former Sasha Banks also reiterated her intention to wipe the smile off Willow’s face when the two competitors meet on August 30.

How the Mercedes Mone and Willow Nightingale Rivalry Started

The current rivalry has roots in the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup. Mone returned to AEW programming earlier this year and replaced Willow after the fan-favorite was forced to withdraw from the tournament because of an injury.

Mone went on to win the tournament for the second consecutive year. She defeated Alex Windsor, Hazuki and Maya World on her way to another Owen Hart Cup victory.

Willow eventually returned to AEW programming at Dynamite: Beach Break and later earned an opportunity to challenge Thekla for the Women’s World Championship.

Willow Nightingale Captures the AEW Women’s World Championship

Willow defeated Thekla in Montreal to become the AEW Women’s World Champion. Her championship victory eventually set up a major title defense against Mercedes Mone at All In: London.

Since then, the two stars have repeatedly exchanged verbal attacks and physical confrontations, adding further intensity to their upcoming championship match.

Mercedes Mone and Willow Nightingale Have Already Clashed

The two competitors have already shared the ring during a trios match at Grand Slam Mexico earlier this month.

Mercedes Mone teamed with Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter against Willow Nightingale and The Brawling Birds. Willow’s team emerged victorious after the champion pinned Mone.

Mone responded the following Wednesday by attacking Willow during an interview with Renee Paquette, escalating their feud ahead of the title match.

Mone Defeated Zayda Steel Before All In

On the August 15 edition of Saturday Night Collision, Mercedes Mone defeated Zayda Steel in singles competition after Steel had confronted her over the attack on Willow.

Following the match, Mone attacked Steel and Christopher Daniels with her Owen Hart Tournament title belt. Willow then arrived and chased Mone away from the ring.
