According to new information shared by industry tipsters, Oppo may move away from Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon platform in favor of a newly developed MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Despite this potential change, key features such as a high-refresh-rate display, a massive battery, and advanced active cooling technology are expected to remain intact.

The leak further suggests that Oppo could expand its active cooling system beyond just the top-end variant, potentially introducing built-in fan cooling even in lower-tier models of the K Turbo lineup. If true, this would mark a significant departure from earlier reports that pointed toward a flagship Snapdragon chipset.

The device is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a configuration commonly favored in gaming smartphones for its balance between sharp visuals and power efficiency. The phone is also expected to sport a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, a large-capacity battery, and a built-in active cooling fan—a defining feature of Oppo’s Turbo-branded devices.

Interestingly, the tipster adds that Oppo is considering integrating active cooling fans into lower-end K-series models as well, potentially redefining thermal management standards in the mid-range gaming smartphone segment.
