Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (irgc) has issued a strong warning against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring that it will continue to pursue him amid growing tensions in the Middle East conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
According to Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency, the IRGC stated that if Netanyahu is “still alive,” Iran will continue hunting him and “kill him with full force.” The remarks come amid escalating military exchanges following recent US-Israeli strikes on Iranian targets.
The statement also claimed that Iran carried out missile and drone strikes against three US military installations in the region as part of its ongoing retaliatory operations.
Netanyahu Assassination Rumours Spread Online
Earlier in the day, rumours circulated on Social Media suggesting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been killed amid Iran’s retaliation against Israel and the United States.
However, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office quickly dismissed the claims, stating that the reports were false.
“These are fake news; the Prime Minister is fine,” the office said in response to a query from Anadolu Agency.
The rumours reportedly began after Netanyahu posted a video on his X account in which he was speaking during a press conference about the ongoing Israel–US–Iran conflict.
Shortly after the video was shared online, some viewers pointed to what appeared to be an unusual visual detail in the footage.
At around the 35-second mark of the clip, when Netanyahu briefly raised his right hand, some users claimed they saw what looked like an extra finger. The feature was interpreted by some online commentators as a possible Artificial Intelligence video glitch.
Others suggested that the appearance may simply have been a visual distortion or shadow in the video frame. Despite the speculation, there has been no evidence supporting the claim that the video was AI-generated.
Iran Claims Attacks on US Military Bases
In the same statement, the IRGC said that Iranian forces had targeted several US military bases across the region using missiles and drones.
According to the report, the strikes allegedly hit the Ali Al Salem Air Base and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait, along with the Al-Harir Air Base located near Erbil in northern Iraq.
Iran described the strikes as part of the 52nd wave of its military campaign, which it calls “Operation True Promise 4.”
The IRGC said the attacks were conducted in retaliation for recent military confrontations and for what it described as the deaths of workers in Iranian industrial zones during the conflict.
| Location | Type of Target | Country |
|---|---|---|
| Ali Al Salem Air Base | US Military Base | Kuwait |
| Camp Arifjan | US Military Logistics Base | Kuwait |
| Al-Harir Air Base | Air Base near Erbil | Iraq |
Explosions Reported Near Airports and Energy Facilities
Reports of multiple explosions were also reported in Dubai on Sunday as the conflict intensified across the Gulf region.
Although the exact cause and extent of the damage were not immediately confirmed, the explosions raised concerns about the potential expansion of the conflict beyond the immediate battle zones.
Drone strikes were also reportedly detected near an oil refinery in northern Iraq and in the vicinity of Kuwait International Airport.
Security officials across several Gulf nations have since raised alert levels due to fears that the conflict could begin targeting regional energy infrastructure and aviation routes.
Middle East Conflict Continues to Escalate
Meanwhile, missile strikes between Iran and Israel have continued as both sides exchange attacks.
According to Israeli broadcaster Channel 12, Iran launched another ballistic missile strike on Sunday that struck the central Israeli city of Holon, leaving two people with minor injuries.
The current escalation began after the United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28.
Reports suggest that the strikes resulted in significant casualties in Iran, with estimates indicating that at least 1,300 people were killed, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Since those strikes, Iran has responded by launching waves of missile and drone attacks targeting Israel as well as locations in neighboring countries that host US military assets.
With attacks now spreading across several parts of the Middle East, analysts warn that the situation risks evolving into a wider regional conflict affecting Global energy routes, aviation networks, and international markets.
