Charlotte Flair Shares First Reaction After WWE Return

WWE superstar Charlotte Flair has broken her silence on social media following her surprise return during the taping of the November 6 edition of SmackDown. The 18-time WWE champion made an unexpected appearance during a chaotic segment involving several women’s division stars, marking her comeback after being sidelined following an attack by The Baddies.

The November 6 episode was taped after this week’s Monday Night RAW in Brooklyn, New York. Flair’s return came during a Women’s Tag Team Championship match that ended without a winner after a major ringside brawl involving Jade Cargill, Jacy Jayne and Tatum Paxley.

Flair joined Bayley and Alexa Bliss in the confrontation, helping the babyfaces fight back against Fatal Influence and The Baddies. The segment also appeared to set the stage for a possible Women’s WarGames Match later this year.

Following the taping, The Queen shared several photographs and videos on Instagram, showing off her appearance and new wrestling gear. Her post marked her first public social media reaction after returning to WWE television.

Charlotte Flair makes surprise return during WWE SmackDown

Charlotte Flair’s comeback took place during the November 6 SmackDown taping, where the women’s division was already involved in a heated championship storyline.

Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid of Fatal Influence challenged Michin and B-Fab, known as The Baddies, for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. However, the contest did not produce a decisive result after several wrestlers became involved in a fight.

Jade Cargill, Jacy Jayne and Tatum Paxley were part of the brawl, which eventually brought Flair into the action. The returning superstar joined Bayley and Alexa Bliss, helping the babyfaces take on Fatal Influence and The Baddies.

Flair’s involvement immediately added another major name to the ongoing women’s division rivalry. The chaotic segment also suggested that WWE could be building towards a larger team-based confrontation at this year’s Women’s WarGames event.

Although the full direction of the storyline remains to be seen, Flair’s return gives the developing rivalry another significant twist.

Charlotte Flair shares first social media reaction after comeback

After her surprise appearance, Charlotte Flair took to Instagram to share photographs and videos from the event. The former champion showed off her look and new wrestling gear, giving fans a closer look at her appearance for the SmackDown taping.

Her caption included a series of colourful emojis along with credits for the creative team responsible for her presentation.

“🔥🩵🧚♀️💖🌈p.s. d💎IT 4 the 🦋🦋s 🌈💖🧚♀️🩵🔥🔥🩵🧚♀️💖🌈💖🧚♀️🩵🔥🩵🧚♀️💖🌈 glam @drehidalgo, style @otheezycreatedit, @otheezystyledit, Hair @finelinebeautyco_,” Flair captioned the post.

The post highlighted Flair’s presentation for her return, while fans were given an early look at her new gear. Her comeback was particularly notable because she had been absent from in-ring action after The Baddies attacked her earlier in October.

Why Charlotte Flair was absent from WWE SmackDown

Flair’s return follows an attack that took place during the October 9 edition of SmackDown. The Baddies targeted The Queen before her scheduled Women’s Tag Team Championship match, leaving her medically uncleared to compete.

Because Flair could not participate, Alexa Bliss stepped in as her replacement. Bliss teamed up with Tatum Paxley, and the pairing went on to defeat Fatal Influence to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

The unexpected partnership between Bliss and Paxley proved successful, with the two wrestlers developing strong chemistry despite the circumstances that brought them together.

However, their championship reign did not last long. On October 23, Bliss and Paxley lost the titles to The Baddies, ending their run after just 14 days.

Flair’s absence therefore played an important role in the development of the women’s tag team storyline. Her return now brings her back into a rivalry involving several prominent names in the division.

Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley’s championship reign ends after 14 days

Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley formed a successful tag team while Flair was recovering from the attack. Their partnership quickly produced results, as they defeated Fatal Influence to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship on the October 9 episode of SmackDown.

Their title victory appeared to establish a new partnership in the women’s tag team division. Bliss brought her experience, while Paxley added her own in-ring style to the combination.

However, their reign ended sooner than expected. The duo lost the championship to The Baddies on October 23, just 14 days after winning the titles.

The title change came during their first defence and involved interference from Jade Cargill. The result was a major development for the championship picture, particularly after Bliss and Paxley had only recently begun their run as a team.

Following the defeat, Paxley shared a message on X that suggested she did not want Flair to find out about the championship loss.

“Really hope @MsCharlotteWWE didn’t see what happened last night! No one tag her and maybe she won’t know!!!!!”

Paxley’s playful reaction referenced Flair’s absence and the unexpected end of the team’s title reign. It also added another layer to the developing storyline involving Flair, Bliss and Paxley.

Charlotte Flair’s championship history in WWE

Charlotte Flair is one of the most decorated female performers in WWE history. Her career has included championship success across several divisions, helping establish her as one of the leading names on the roster.

Flair has held the WWE Women’s Championship, Women’s Tag Team Championship, Divas Championship and NXT Women’s Championship during her career. Across those title victories, she has accumulated 18 WWE championships.

Her achievements and long-running presence in the women’s division have made her a central figure in many major WWE storylines. Her return to SmackDown therefore carries significance beyond a single surprise appearance, particularly with the women’s tag team rivalry continuing to develop.

Joining the confrontation alongside Bayley and Alexa Bliss also places Flair back in the middle of a storyline involving several major competitors. Her next move could help determine how the rivalry develops in the coming weeks.

Could Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley join forces for WarGames?

Flair’s return during the brawl has raised questions about the possible direction of WWE’s women’s division heading towards this year’s WarGames Match.

The segment brought together several wrestlers from different storylines, including Flair, Bayley, Bliss, Paxley, Cargill and Jayne. With the confrontation involving both Fatal Influence and The Baddies, WWE appears to be developing tensions that could lead to a larger team-based match.

Bliss and Paxley have already established a connection through their short-lived championship partnership, while Flair’s return gives the group another experienced competitor. Bayley’s involvement adds further possibilities as the rivalry continues.

However, it remains to be seen whether The Twisted Dolls, Paxley and Bliss will ultimately compete together in the Women’s WarGames Match. WWE has not confirmed the final teams or the full direction of the storyline in the supplied report.

For now, Flair’s surprise comeback and her first social media post afterwards have provided fans with two major developments. Her return brings an 18-time champion back into the spotlight, while the ongoing championship rivalry leaves several questions unanswered ahead of the next chapter on SmackDown.
