KJ Orso WWE arrival speculation has intensified after the former AEW star posted a cryptic message following his reported participation in WWE’s SummerSlam 2026 tryouts in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Orso, formerly known as Fuego Del Sol, left AEW in 2023 after spending around three years with the promotion. Since departing, he has continued building his career on the independent wrestling scene.

KJ Orso Teases WWE Move After Tryouts

KJ Orso reportedly participated in the WWE SummerSlam 2026 Tryouts, where WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles was said to be involved in scouting the talent.

Following the tryouts, Orso took to X and reflected on the anniversary of signing his first AEW contract. His choice of words sparked speculation that he could soon sign with WWE.

“Signed my first contract 5 years ago today… Crazy how history could be repeating itself here soon…,” Orso wrote.

Although Orso did not directly confirm that he has signed with WWE, the timing of the message and his reported participation in the tryouts have led to widespread speculation about a possible move to the Stamford-based promotion.

Fuego Del Sol’s AEW Run

Orso originally gained attention in AEW under the name Fuego Del Sol. He made his AEW debut in May 2020 as an ally of Sammy Guevara.

During his AEW tenure, he competed against several notable names and received an opportunity to challenge for the TNT Championship. He faced then-champion Miro for the title but was unable to capture the championship.

His AEW contract eventually expired in July 2023, after which he returned to the independent wrestling circuit.

KJ Orso Previously Defended Sammy Guevara

KJ Orso has maintained a close relationship with former AEW star Sammy Guevara. The two worked together during their time in AEW, and Orso previously came to Guevara’s defense amid speculation surrounding the latter’s future.

Online rumors had suggested that Guevara could be leaving AEW after his absence from the promotion and changes to his social media profile. However, those reports were later disputed.

Orso responded to the speculation by explaining that Guevara had simply added “World Champion” to his profile and criticized the negative assumptions surrounding his friend.

“All he did was add ‘World Champion’ to his bio and everyone ran with assumptions. Hate him or love him as a wrestler, it sucks that there will always be hate for him as a person online because of misguided misconceptions of past circumstances, but he’s a genuinely good guy,” Orso wrote.

Could KJ Orso Join WWE?

For now, Orso’s WWE status has not been officially confirmed. His reported appearance at the SummerSlam 2026 tryouts and subsequent cryptic social media post, however, have made a potential WWE signing an intriguing possibility.

If WWE does sign Orso, it would mark the latest chapter in his wrestling journey after his AEW run and years of work on the independent scene. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement to know whether his suggestion that history could repeat itself becomes reality.
