Reagan Bregman caught attention with her elegant red maxi dress as she attended the 2026 Breeders’ Cup alongside her husband, Chicago Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman, in Lexington, Kentucky. The couple shared a stylish family appearance at the prestigious Horse Racing event, which took place at Keeneland on October 30-31.

Reagan offered fans a glimpse of the occasion through a series of photographs shared on social media. She paired her red maxi dress with a polished look suited to the high-profile racing weekend, while Alex opted for a more traditional outfit featuring a navy blue coat, blue shirt and beige trousers.

Alex completed his appearance with matching shoes, a cap and a tie. Their son Knox also joined the family outing, wearing a navy blue shirt with brown pocket details and blue jeans.

Reagan captioned the photographs with a short message celebrating the event.

“Breeders Cup 2026 🐎🏆.”

Reagan Bregman turns heads in a red maxi dress at Breeders’ Cup

The red maxi dress became the standout element of Reagan’s outfit as the Bregman family enjoyed the 2026 Breeders’ Cup. Her photographs captured the family’s time in Kentucky, combining a fashionable appearance with their shared interest in horse racing.

The Breeders’ Cup is one of the biggest events on the international horse racing calendar, bringing together leading horses, trainers, owners and racing enthusiasts. The 2026 edition was held at Keeneland in Lexington, which hosted the championship for the fourth time after previously staging it in 2015, 2020 and 2022.

The 43rd running of the event concluded with the $7 million Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday. For the Bregmans, the weekend represented more than a social appearance, as the family has developed its own connection to the racing industry over the past few years.

Alex and Reagan Bregman’s family has been involved in horse racing since 2023

Alex and Reagan entered the horse racing world in 2023 through their stable, Bregman Family Racing. The operation began with eight horses and runs under the names of Alex, Reagan and Alex’s parents, Sam and Jackie.

Reagan has a lifelong connection to equestrian activities and plays an active role in the family’s racing interests. She is particularly involved in choosing names for the horses, making the stable a shared family project rather than simply another business interest.

Their first season brought recognition when the family received a share of OwnerView’s New Owner of the Year award. Their racing operation also reached the Breeders’ Cup with No Nay Mets, giving the couple an opportunity to watch one of their horses compete at the championship.

Alex’s involvement with the event extended beyond ownership. Before the 2023 championships, he served as a Breeders’ Cup celebrity ambassador and pledged Breeders’ Cup earnings towards the fight against antisemitism.

The family’s appearance at Keeneland in 2026 therefore continued a connection that began several years earlier. Their latest photographs showed how horse racing has become an important part of their interests outside Alex’s professional baseball career.

Reagan Bregman shares adorable Halloween moments with sons Knox and Bennett

Alongside the Breeders’ Cup photographs, Reagan regularly shares glimpses of family life with Alex and their two sons, Knox and Bennett. Her recent social media updates have included Halloween celebrations, everyday family moments and outings away from the baseball field.

In one set of Instagram Stories, Reagan shared photographs of the boys trick-or-treating. The children were photographed from behind as they walked along a brick pathway surrounded by palm trees and cacti.

Knox wore a red-and-blue Spider-Man costume and carried a woven basket over one arm. His younger brother, Bennett, chose a red-and-black armoured costume and carried a black treat bucket shaped like a face.

The Halloween photograph also included an adult wearing a top hat and dark suit standing near the edge of the frame. Reagan added two red heart graphics to the image, giving the family moment a playful touch.

The costumes provided another look at how the Bregman family celebrated Halloween. Rather than sharing only baseball-related updates, Reagan’s social media posts often focus on the children’s activities and the family’s time together.

Reagan shares another glimpse of Alex Bregman’s baseball life at home

Another photograph from Reagan’s Instagram Stories offered a small connection between family life and Alex’s career. In the image, Knox was seen standing indoors in front of a wall-mounted television showing a baseball broadcast.

The young boy wore a light blue T-shirt and had one arm raised while watching the screen. The broadcast displayed Alex Bregman’s name in its on-screen graphic, while a family dog could be seen at the bottom of the photograph.

The image captured a familiar part of life for the family, with baseball remaining present even during their time away from the stadium. Alex’s professional career has taken him to different teams and cities, but the sport continues to be part of the family’s everyday surroundings.

Reagan’s posts also show that the couple make time for activities unrelated to baseball. One recent update featured all four family members spending time together at Troubadour Golf & Field Club.

“Nothing better 🍂🤎,” Reagan captioned the Instagram post.

The photograph reflected the family’s enjoyment of spending time together, with the seasonal caption adding to the relaxed atmosphere of the outing.

Alex Bregman enjoys strong first season with the Chicago Cubs

While Reagan has been sharing family and lifestyle moments, Alex has been focused on his first season with the Chicago Cubs. The third baseman joined the franchise after signing a five-year, $175 million contract in January, giving Chicago a major addition to its lineup.

Bregman’s first campaign with the Cubs produced strong individual numbers. He appeared in 155 games, recording 28 home runs, 33 doubles and 93 runs batted in. He also finished with an .819 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS).

His performance was also reflected in his Baseball Reference Wins Above Replacement (WAR), which stood at 5.8. That was his highest WAR total since 2019, underlining the value he brought to the Cubs during his debut season in Chicago.

The five-year agreement represented a major commitment from the Cubs, who added an experienced player with a strong record of offensive production. Bregman’s ability to contribute both power and consistency made his first season an important part of the team’s campaign.

Family moments keep Reagan Bregman in the spotlight beyond baseball

Reagan’s latest photographs from the Breeders’ Cup offered another example of her public presence beyond the baseball field. Her red maxi dress, Alex’s coordinated navy outfit and Knox’s casual look gave the family a stylish appearance at one of horse racing’s biggest annual events.

The family’s involvement in Bregman Family Racing also gives their visits to the Breeders’ Cup a personal connection. Since entering the sport in 2023, Alex and Reagan have developed an interest in horse ownership, with Reagan’s equestrian background playing a role in the operation.

At the same time, her updates featuring Knox and Bennett show the importance of family activities away from professional commitments. From Halloween costumes and baseball broadcasts at home to outings at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, Reagan continues to share selected moments from their daily lives.

For Alex, the 2026 season marked a significant first year in Chicago after signing his major contract with the Cubs. For the family, the Breeders’ Cup provided another opportunity to enjoy their interest in racing and spend time together in Kentucky.

Reagan’s red-dress appearance and the family’s photographs from Keeneland brought together fashion, horse racing and family life, giving fans a glimpse into the Bregmans’ world away from the baseball diamond.
