Murdoch took to Facebook to remember Cade on the 16th anniversary of his death. In his heartfelt tribute, he described Cade as both a brother and a close friend while reflecting on what he believed the wrestler could have achieved had his career continued.

Murdoch praised Cade’s in-ring ability, psychology, toughness and willingness to work with other wrestlers. He also expressed his belief that Cade had the qualities required to eventually become a world champion.

According to reports at the time, Cade died in 2010 due to heart failure. He was only 29 years old.

According to Murdoch, Cade then attempted to continue wrestling before suffering another shoulder dislocation. The medical team again treated the injury, but Cade returned once more and asked Murdoch to tag him into the match.

Murdoch said the incident showed the kind of person Cade was and emphasized that his former partner did not want to leave his teammate without help.
