The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to release the FMGE December 2026 Admit Card on October 27, 2026. Candidates appearing for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) can download their hall tickets from the official NBEMS website, nbe.edu.in, using their login credentials.
The admit card is an important document for candidates preparing to take the examination. Applicants should check their hall tickets carefully after downloading them and keep a printed copy ready for the examination day. Candidates should also ensure that their applications are complete and that they meet the examination eligibility requirements.
NBEMS has stated that admit cards will not be issued to candidates declared ineligible before the examination. In such cases, the application fee will be forfeited. Receiving an admit card for an earlier FMGE session does not guarantee eligibility for a subsequent session if the candidate’s application is incomplete or they are otherwise declared ineligible.

If the admit card link is not visible, candidates should check the official website again later and refer to NBEMS announcements for updates. They should avoid relying on unofficial websites or sharing their login credentials with third parties.
Details to Check on the FMGE Admit Card
After downloading the hall ticket, candidates should verify all the information printed on it. Any discrepancy should be addressed through the official NBEMS helpdesk or the contact channel specified in the examination notice.
Candidates should pay particular attention to the following details, where applicable:
- Candidate’s name and other identification details
- Roll number or application-related information
- Photograph and signature
- Examination date and reporting time
- Examination centre and address
- Instructions for the examination day
Candidates should read the instructions carefully and confirm the location of their examination centre in advance. They should also check which identification documents and other items are permitted under the official examination guidelines.
FMGE 2026 Exam Pattern: 300 Multiple-Choice Questions
According to the examination details provided, FMGE consists of one paper containing 300 multiple-choice questions. The examination is conducted on a computer-based platform at designated centres across the country.
Each question has four response options, presented in English. Candidates must select the correct, best or most appropriate answer from the four choices provided.
The computer-based format also allows candidates to mark questions for review, whether they have attempted them or not. This feature enables candidates to revisit marked questions within the relevant section before the allotted time expires.
Candidates should familiarise themselves with the computer-based examination format and follow the instructions displayed on the examination screen. They should manage their time carefully and ensure that they review their responses within the permitted time.
What Happens If a Candidate Is Declared Ineligible?
NBEMS has clarified that an admit card will not be issued to candidates who are declared ineligible before the examination. The supplied notice also states that the examination fee will be forfeited in such cases.
Eligibility is therefore an important consideration even for candidates who have previously appeared for FMGE. The issuance of an admit card in an earlier session does not automatically establish eligibility for another session.
Candidates whose applications are incomplete or who have been declared ineligible should consult the applicable NBEMS notice for the reasons and any available instructions. They should not assume that an earlier admit card guarantees approval for the current application.
What Should Candidates Do Before the Examination?
With the examination date approaching, candidates should complete their preparations for both the administrative and examination-day requirements.
- Download the hall ticket: Access the admit card through the official NBEMS website once the link becomes available.
- Verify personal details: Check the information printed on the hall ticket and report discrepancies through the prescribed official channel.
- Read examination instructions: Review the rules regarding reporting time, identification documents and permitted items.
- Plan travel: Check the examination centre address and allow sufficient time to reach the venue.
- Keep a printed copy: Store the downloaded file safely and carry the required documents according to the official instructions.
- Monitor official announcements: Check NBEMS updates for any changes or clarifications regarding the examination schedule.
Where to Check FMGE December 2026 Updates
Candidates can visit the official NBEMS website at nbe.edu.in for admit card availability, examination notices and related instructions. The latest official notification should be treated as the primary source for confirming the examination session, schedule and eligibility requirements.
Candidates should rely on information published by NBEMS rather than unverified social media posts or third-party websites. Checking the official notice is particularly important because the supplied examination details refer to both the December 2026 and October 2026 sessions.
Conclusion
The FMGE December 2026 admit card is scheduled for release on October 27, 2026, according to the supplied information. Candidates can download their hall tickets through the official NBEMS website by signing in with their credentials and following the instructions provided on the portal.
After downloading the admit card, candidates should verify their personal and examination details, save the document and keep a printed copy ready.
