Dinusha continued his aggressive approach and brought up a well-made half-century from 66 balls, including five boundaries and a six. His contribution helped Sri Lanka XI cross the 350-run mark and regain the initiative late in the day.

Ravindra Jadeja, Manav Suthar and Kuldeep Yadav Take Two Wickets Each

India eventually managed to pick up a few late wickets, but Sri Lanka XI still ended the opening day in a commanding position at 363/8.

Ravindra Jadeja, Manav Suthar and Kuldeep Yadav were India’s most successful bowlers, taking two wickets each. Jadeja finished with figures of 2/64, while Suthar returned 2/33 and Kuldeep claimed 2/76.
