Finn Bálor and his wife, Vero Rodríguez, have a special reason to celebrate as the WWE Superstar marked their seventh wedding anniversary with a heartfelt tribute on social media.

Bálor, whose real name is Fergal Devitt, has established himself as one of WWE’s biggest stars. Away from the ring, however, the Irish wrestler is known for his family life and marriage to Mexican sports journalist Vero Rodríguez.

Finn Bálor and Vero Rodríguez tied the knot in 2019 during a private ceremony in Tulum, Mexico. The couple has remained together since then, and August 19, 2026, marked seven years since they exchanged their wedding vows.

To celebrate the occasion, Bálor took to his official social media account and shared several photographs with his wife. Alongside the pictures, the WWE Superstar wrote a loving anniversary message.

“7th Heaven. My Teacher, My Guide, My strength, My Muse, My Girl Happy 7th Anniversary to MY WIFE!” Bálor wrote.

The heartfelt tribute highlighted the important role Rodríguez has played in Bálor’s life away from the WWE spotlight.

While Bálor had a personal milestone to celebrate, his attention will soon return to his WWE career as he continues to establish himself on the SmackDown roster.

The Irishman was last seen competing at SummerSlam, where he participated in a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender’s Match for CM Punk’s Undisputed WWE Championship.

Bálor was originally scheduled to face Sami Zayn in a singles match. However, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis added Gunther and the returning Kevin Owens to the contest at the last minute.

The changes to the match made Bálor’s path to victory considerably more difficult. He ultimately failed to secure the No. 1 contender position, bringing his four-match undefeated streak to an end at SummerSlam.
