“They Pay Me the Big Bucks for This” – Roman Reigns Addresses WWE Future After Crown Jewel 2026

Roman Reigns delivered another major statement at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, defeating Sami Zayn in the main event to capture the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. Following his victory, the OTC addressed his future in WWE and made it clear that the company would continue paying him handsomely for his performances.

The Bloodline leader faced Zayn in a hard-hitting championship contest that lasted 24 minutes. Both superstars pushed each other throughout the match, but Reigns eventually found the opportunity to take control and secure the victory.

After the show, WWE shared footage of Reigns delivering a post-match promo in which he described himself as the most important figure in professional wrestling. His comments also offered a confident message about his continued role in the company.

Roman Reigns Defeats Sami Zayn to Win Men’s Crown Jewel Championship

Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn headlined WWE Crown Jewel 2026 in a battle for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The match brought together two former Bloodline teammates whose relationship had developed into a rivalry.

The 24-minute contest featured a physical battle, with both competitors determined to leave Riyadh with the championship. Zayn attempted to challenge Reigns, but the OTC eventually produced the decisive sequence.

Reigns connected with two consecutive Spears before covering Zayn for the pinfall victory. The result secured his first Men’s Crown Jewel Championship and added another achievement to his already successful WWE career.

Following the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H entered the ring and presented Reigns with the championship. However, the biggest moment after the contest came when the two former Bloodline teammates appeared to put their differences behind them.

Reigns referred to Zayn as an “Uso” before embracing him in the ring. The unexpected reconciliation brought their short-lived rivalry to an emotional conclusion and created a memorable moment following the championship match.

Roman Reigns Sends Strong Message About His WWE Future

After his victory over Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns delivered a confident promo that WWE later shared on its official platforms. The OTC addressed his position in professional wrestling and suggested that his value to the company would remain significant.

Reigns made it clear that he believes his importance to WWE goes beyond individual matches or championship appearances. He also joked about the money he receives for his work, suggesting that the company would continue paying him because he consistently delivers when he steps into the ring.

“It don’t matter what happens, baby. When you’re the champ, when you’re the most important figure in this industry, it don’t matter where it is or what’s going on, baby. I show up, I wreck shop, I hold it down. They pay me the big bucks for this. And they’re gonna continue, because Daddy always delivers, baby. OTC. Now it means something, you understand? Now this means something,” Reigns said.

The statement reflected Reigns’ confidence following another major championship victory. Rather than suggesting that he was considering an exit from WWE, his comments emphasised his continued importance to the promotion.

His reference to being paid the “big bucks” also highlighted the character’s larger-than-life confidence. Reigns presented himself as someone who knows his value and expects WWE to continue recognising his contributions.

Triple H Reacts to Roman Reigns’ Crown Jewel Victory

Roman Reigns’ victory at Crown Jewel added another major achievement to what has been a successful 2026 for the OTC. Triple H also publicly acknowledged the championship win after the event.

Earlier in the year, Reigns won the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in Saudi Arabia, setting himself up for another major opportunity at WrestleMania 42. He later defeated CM Punk to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.

Since winning the title, Reigns has defended the championship against several major WWE stars, including Jacob Fatu, Penta and Seth Rollins. His victory over Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel added the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship to his list of achievements this year.

Following the event, Triple H shared a backstage photograph with Reigns on X and praised the champion’s latest accomplishment.

“The OTC. The World Heavyweight Champion. And now…The #WWECrownJewel Champion. Acknowledge him @WWERomanReigns,” Triple H wrote.

The message highlighted Reigns’ position as both World Heavyweight Champion and Men’s Crown Jewel Champion. It also reflected WWE’s recognition of his latest achievement following the main event in Riyadh.

Roman Reigns’ 2026 Achievements Strengthen His Position in WWE

Reigns has remained one of WWE’s central figures throughout 2026. His year began with a victory in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in Saudi Arabia, giving him momentum heading towards WrestleMania 42.

He then defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship, adding another major title to his career. His subsequent championship defences against Jacob Fatu, Penta and Seth Rollins demonstrated the level of competition he has faced during his title reign.

The victory over Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel provided another important milestone. Winning the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship for the first time gave Reigns another reason to celebrate and strengthened his position heading into the remaining WWE events of 2026.

His post-match comments also showed that he remains confident about his place in the professional wrestling industry. Reigns believes his performances justify his position and the financial rewards he receives from WWE.

Roman Reigns Rumoured for Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2026

Following his Crown Jewel victory, attention has already shifted towards Roman Reigns’ potential next appearance. The OTC is rumoured to compete in a Men’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2026 alongside his Bloodline teammates.

A possible WarGames appearance would provide another opportunity for Reigns to compete alongside members of his faction. However, the reported possibility has not been confirmed in the supplied information, leaving questions about his exact role at Survivor Series.

His recent reconciliation with Sami Zayn could also attract attention as WWE moves forward. The two former Bloodline teammates embraced after their Crown Jewel championship match, creating a different dynamic following their rivalry.

Whether that moment has any impact on future WWE storylines remains to be seen. For now, Reigns can celebrate his latest championship victory while remaining one of the promotion’s most prominent stars.

Roman Reigns left Crown Jewel with the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, another successful main-event performance and a confident message about his WWE future. His victory over Sami Zayn also brought an unexpected reconciliation between the two former Bloodline teammates.

With the possibility of a Men’s WarGames appearance at Survivor Series 2026, the OTC could have another major challenge ahead. However, WWE has yet to confirm his participation.
