Former Team India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar has lauded Axar Patel for producing a stunning comeback after struggling throughout the recently concluded T20I series against England. The all-rounder played a pivotal role in India’s six-wicket victory in the first ODI at Edgbaston, delivering match-winning contributions with both bat and ball.

Axar endured a difficult T20I series, managing very few runs and averaging below four across five innings as India suffered a heavy 0-4 series defeat.
